Earlier this month, the Census Bureau delayed the release of the Summary File 3 (SF-3) file for the state of Vermont after identifying a potential problem with the data. In accordance with our long-standing commitment to quality, we have revised the schedule for releasing the SF-3 files for Vermont, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, and West Virginia to allow sufficient time to determine whether any corrections to the data are required. SF-3 files will be disseminated for these states in early August, after we have completed our review and made any necessary revisions to ensure that the data are accurate.
